MAJAZ HOUSE (KOHAN)

Architecture is an objective encounter of an ideal and subjective quality called "imagination" that the architect already depicted within the space of his mind. Imagination is the great disposition that every artist first makes and then endeavors to attain. Nowadays, our people are under the great influence of our architecture and city. Within the hustle and haste of today's city, when monster and callous man-made structures called houses, have cut off the breath of the city and denied us the sight of the sky, Interior spaces are the only conceivable shelter for freedom and fantasy. In the "Majaz House" project, efforts have been made to create the spaces continuous and expanded by eliminating excesses and masses. Indeed the thicknesses in their most slender state make a virtual image of volumes that characterize the privacy of spaces. The fluidity and lightness of the house is a leisure for reflection and tranquility.
