RAYENEHDARAN (Renovation of the administrative office of Rayenehdaran Company)

In August 2018, the office renovation project of Rayenehdaran Company was presented to our office. The main activity of the company was the distribution of chemical products, and the spatial layout of the facility comprised two distinct entities situated in opposing positions, with an expanse segregating them, each of which served a diverse purpose.

Unit No.1 included the accounting management room and an unused room and a skylight, and Unit No.2 included office rooms and a conference space, which was located directly next to other space.

Pathology and challenges facing the design:

The noteworthy point was that despite the need for many spaces, the salient observation is that the organization experienced a crisis of space shortage, despite the necessity for multiple areas. This was due to an inadequacy in defining appropriate spaces and the existence of non-utilized ones. Moreover, the currently available spaces, although aggregating approximately 200 square meters in total area, were characterized by insufficiency in size and lack of ambiance.
